About Our Dressmaker – Amelia at Lulu Bridal

Amelia is a fully qualified bridal dressmaker and couture seamstress, specialising in creating custom wedding dresses and bespoke bridal gowns.  She began her couture journey by handcrafting beautiful formal dresses for local clients before pursuing advanced training in fashion and design.

After earning her Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design and Technology from Sydney Ultimo TAFE, Amelia refined her skills in Paris at École Lesage, a world-renowned couture embroidery school owned by Chanel. This international experience, combined with years of hands-on bridal craftsmanship, gives her a unique ability to blend timeless elegance with modern bridal design.

Since founding Lulu Bridal in 2018, Amelia has dedicated herself to creating one-of-a-kind gowns that celebrate each bride’s individuality. With thousands of hours of education and experience, she brings exceptional skill and artistry to every design.

Based in Canberra, Amelia continues to design and sew custom wedding dresses for brides across Canberra, the Riverina, and regional NSW, offering locally made gowns with world-class craftsmanship.
